AMC 20 is great. While Emagine in Novi has an advantage in that it has a bar, it also has loads of teenagers on Friday and Saturday nights which make it very mall-like. AMC 20 is in your typical suburban plaza with the likes of construction stores and marts, but it manages to only draw people who are coming to watch movies, not just kill time.

Like Rob said, it's clean, has plenty of room (I spent Superbad in the aisle laughing and no one in the packed place minded because their is so much space), it has a massive parking lot, and, while it is definitely NOT a "community theatre," it does the job well. I've never had a complaint about the place which is crucial for me.

Location: it's close to the freeway, yet far enough away (about a mile from an on-ramp off the main road) and not visible from the freeway that it doesn't get tons of rabble either. Great place.

Like previous reviewers, I'd say it's just an average bar, although their patio is quite nice during the summer. Happy Hour is not especially cheap, just average, but the pizza is fantastic.

I'd choose this location over the other any day because this one is much more spacious inside, as well as having the great outdoor seating. But otherwise they're the same.

Okay, I was wrong 3 months ago. I've eaten here probably 2 dozen times since that first review, and I must say that it continues to prove its worth. You can get soup (complimentary), chips and salsa (complimentary), water and a lunch plate for under $5.00.

It's cost effective and delicious the staff is friendly, and I've never had a bad experience. I retract my statement that there is little lasting about it. I love it!

Big fan. Lisa touched on the coffee quality, and you can't get past the fact that John is a crazy coffee lover trying to bring his obsession in taste and perfection to everybody.

RoosRoast is big in the community. They have a booth selling freshly brewed coffee and beans at the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market. The coffee is fantastic and worth the price, which is about 10-20% higher for a cup than your chain coffee shops. It's absolutely worth it.

Apparently I miss the crappy times (post-Happy Hour), but as I've only been mid-afternoon, it's always fairly empty and moderately priced ($2 pints as a previous poster referenced). The food is not cheaply priced, so be prepared to shell out even during Happy Hour.

That being said, I won't give it more than 3 stars if the non-HH environment is as uninviting as the other posters have said.

Fantastic! Service was great, food was great, portions were great...everything was great! Some of the best breakfast food I've had in quite some time. It's in a great downtown location, and they have an extensive menu as well as specials to get you exactly what's on your taste buds. A must try pre-11 am before it goes cafeteria style.

Fantastic! Things like real, legit sweet potato fries make it worth the trip. It's not the cheapest place in the world, but they make up for it in atmosphere, service and food quality. It's definitely not an everyday visit because of cost, but I'd still go 4-5 times a month if I lived a little closer.

Fantastic restaurant, great service, worth the drive even from the suburbs. They have a great menu and most everything is bilingual in the restaurant to help out all of their non-Spanish speaking patrons.  Most every one of the other reviewers have talked about the freshness and quality of the food, and I simply concur. A few side notes.

Typically you can get out of there at lunch spending less than $5. Gringas, for example, run $3-$4 dollars and a side of beans and rice costs around $1.

The only thing you can expect to pay a little more with is non-alcoholic drinks. They don't have a tap for Coke products, so they bring you a can each time you order one. Be careful, you can spend a few extra bucks there if you're not careful.

It's a fantastic place, I love eating there, and I don't think twice about driving 25-30 miles to visit.

Not a bad place. It's a relatively large facility, very welcoming to larger groups. They have a large menu with many Greek dishes as well as traditional American fare. Their breakfast is available all day and it is quite good. There is nothing "spectacular" about the restaurant but it serves a purpose: quick, consistent American/Greek food with a little flair ("Opa!" is heard at least a few times each visit, depending on what other tables order).

Considering it was my first try at Indian food, I was generally impressed. Very clean, quiet restaurant with a full buffet as well. The service was great (helpful but not intrusive on your dining) and I appreciated their clean restrooms with eco-friendly facilities.

I don't have much to say about the food other than I liked it, but I will withhold my thoughts on the menu for someone with a much more experienced taste for Indian food.
